Since the beginning of this year, the Digital Health Cluster Latvia together with AmCham Healthcare workgroup have been working hard on the National Digital Health Strategy development. The vision document was introduced to public during the conference Knowledge for Use in Practice at the end of March. The top 4 priorities to make healthcare accessible to everyone are:
.Unified health data storage (both – private and governmental sector) – the patient owns his data – using standardized data protocol
.Patient-centered health-care – telemedicine (direct accessibility) – consistent long term health monitoring – healthcare service quality control
.Improving digital skills of healthcare professionals
.Ecosystem supervision – monitoring and optimizing the success of implementing digitalization.
